I was at a point in my career when I was very ready to pursue a CEO position and wanted to stay in the home health space. I needed a coach to help guide my strategy and I turned again to Marty with whom I had engaged at Bayada Home Health Care.
With the help of my Hartman results and numerous conversations, Marty helped me identify the must-haves in my next CEO position and ideal company I would pursue. I was also needing to make major personal decisions, including relocation of my family and supporting my wife's work that was based in New York City and required global travel.
I began speaking with our current Private Equity sponsors in January of 2017 and ultimately became the CEO of Sonas Home Health Care shortly after. The company operated under multiple legacy brands, had disparate operational systems and was lacking a universal culture and strategy. Over the last 4 years we’ve integrated the businesses, rebranded the organization, unified the culture and executed on the vision I had for how home health care should be delivered in a technological world. We’ve grown the organization by annually by over 35% over this period of time and are now one of the leading providers of private duty nursing in the state of FL.
